Dialysis

What is Dialysis:

Dialysis is primarily used as renal replacement therapy to provide an artificial replacement for lost kidney function due to renal failure. Dialysis may be used for very sick patients who have suddenly but temporarily, lost their kidney function (acute renal failure) or for quite stable patients who have permanently lost their kidney function (stage 5 chronic kidney disease).

Positive Dialysis:

IBN SINA Hospital is having well established Dialysis Center Since 1980, which is situated in the 2nd floor of A block. The unit is providing Dialysis for both Hepatitis positive and Negative patients. The center has trained doctors and nurses serving round the clock 24 hours a day and seven days in a week with latest B-BRAUN computerized German machines. The unit is air-conditioned and having central supply of oxygen. Positive patients are getting service by one time disposable dialyzer and set in a separated room and separated machine. Recently FRESINIUS machine from USA has been installed.

Rate of Dialysis

  • Bicarbonate every time 2850/- = with new Dialyzer and set.
  • Positive case (3600/- each Dialysis)

  • 18 Dialysis machine under guidance of highly trained doctor. (2 machines dedicated for general ICU and Stroke ICU and one for Hepatitis positive patient & FRESINIUS, USA)
